Characteristics of the specialization:
A successful three-year bachelor graduate will acquire the latest knowledge and skills in technology and traffic management and logistics technologies - both theoretical and practical. They will apply this knowledge in all types of freight transport as well as in forwarding and logistics, including intermodal transport. They will also be used in passenger transport, including integrated transport systems.
Theoretical background
By studying this field, you will gain theoretical and practical knowledge of technology and control of freight and passenger transport. You will also gain knowledge of logistics, transportation technology, management, economics, economic and transport geography, combined transport, fundamentals of transport, fundamentals of means of transport, mathematics, physics, algorithmization and programming, etc.
Within the compulsory elective blocks of courses, you will be able to focus on the following areas: Operation of railways and rail transport or Operation of road transport or the area of Software Systems.
Practical application of acquired knowledge
- Traffic management technology - system integration of technical and economic aspects of the relocation process,
- operational management, rationalization of transport and transport processes on networks, processing and evaluation of transport projects, etc.
Relation to the study practice
You will be able to apply your knowledge in the practical part of the training provided by our faculty in the form of excursions, practices and internships in one of the many partner companies. In addition, teaching takes place in specialized classrooms and in its own fully equipped transport hall. Speakers will also be experts from practice. During your studies you can pass professional examinations on both the signalman and the dispatcher.
