The subject of project is a design and preparation of equipment for fracture toughness tests using existing instrumentation base at Jan Perner Transport faculty. The aim is to improve the lectures of fracture mechanics by practical exercises with the complete realization of static and dynamic tests. Implementation of the project will enable the practical education in the field of structures resistance to critical defects propagation. The project will focus on innovative testing procedures, based on simplified samples types usage; this current trend is attractive especially in application for transport means.
