The project is focused on selected research problems in the field of transport means and infrastructure, e.g. modeling of selected problems of rail vehicle dynamics, evaluation of contact fatigue properties of materials for rail vehicles, optimization of independent steering of rear axles in experimental vehicle, research of fracture toughness of thin sheets for experimental analysis of car bodywork or special concrete exposed to extraordinary loads - fires and explosions.
