V článku je popsán způsob konkrétní realizace tohoto systému pro potřeby uvedeného zkušebního zařízení. eng The Measuring System for Experimental Study of General Characteristics of Brake Blocks The experimental testing equipment for investigation of transmission of adhesive railway wheel forces, particularly during braking, is carried out in the frame of solution of the grant project ?Railway Wheel Rail Contact and Influence of Braking Processes on the Railway Wheel Tread Durability? (Grant Agency of Czech Republic, Project No. 101/0/0242). The paper follows up with the previous works of the authors in this sphere. There is necessary to equip the testing plant with a system for direct measuring of tangential forces generated with the effect of frictional components on the circumference of the railway wheel tread, to study an interaction of different braking systems of railway vehicles in accordance with the adhesion process on the railway wheel rail contact. This system is considered to be necessary for investigation of dynamical effects in the contact of frictional components with the railway wheel tread, including a description of processes of self-excited vibration, and relaxational vibration, respectively. In addition to the mentioned study of co-operation of adhesion and braking processes, there were observed problems of damage mechanism on the railway wheel tread as well as an acoustical effects arising during braking. railway vehicles, brakes, measuring equipment
