eng Reinforcement Fibers in Concrete Envelopes of Underground Power Stations Fiber reinforced concrete becomes very popular in certain types of concrete structures, such as tunnel linings, foundations of industry halls, foundation engineering in general, and others. A choice of material and shape of fibers are important for behavior of the system from the view of accumulation of stress causing local cracking. In order to get theoretical information about the behavior of crack localization, experimental samples with randomly distributed fibers have been prepared and studied from both experimental and theoretical point of view. . In underground structures reinforced by fibers with one sided moistended surface micromechanics properties in contact at debonding of fiber from matrix play very important role. fiber reinforced conrete; envelope; tunnel linning; underground power station
