eng	Statics and Dynamics of Rock Bursts	Great attention of mining engineers is devoted to a very dangerous phenomenon, which can occur during deep mining and is known as rock burst or coal bumps. The reasons for bumps occurrence are various. Basically accumulation of an extreme energy on the wall of the opening of the mine is the most known reason together with special material conditions. In the past it appeared that free hexagons are one of a feasible instrument for this aim. It describes nucleation of cracks leading to bumps in very small time interval. Therefore, the paper is focused on description of free hexagon method with the influence of static impacts and of dynamical forces and the method is applied to prediction and description of bumps due to such conditions.	rock bursts; coal bumps; deep mining; overburden; hexagon metod
