EDX-analýza umožňuje zjišťovat chemické složení jednotlivých částic. Na základě těchto analýz v kombinaci s dalšími informacemi o použitých konstrukčních materiálech je možné určit, z jaké součásti částice pocházejí a jakým mechanismem vznikly. eng	Application of Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis in tribodiagnostics	The paper presents the results of a study of particles isolated from motor and hydraulic oils taken from vehicles. The EDX analysis makes the identification of the chemical composition of individual particles possible. Based on this analysis combined with other information about structure of used materials, it is possible to determine the part that the particles come from and the mechanism of their creation.
