eng	The Operating Data Exploitation in the Course of Solving the Problem of the Railway Wheel-set Lifetime	Amount of parameters influences the operational reliability of all elements of railway wheel and rail, which participate at the rail-wheel interaction. One of the ways how to minimize wear is to practice appropriated maintenance. The very important source of information, which could help us, is operational monitoring. The data contained in this source are usually collected during all lifetime of monitored element ? generally for some years. This paper shows a part of operational monitoring system of Czech Railways, a. s., available in the course of the railway wheel-set lifetime problem solving.
