Příspěvek se zabývá možností využití prostředků ze strukturálních a kohezních fondů v rámci oblasti železniční dopravy v České republice. Protožes v oblasti železniční dopravy vyskytuje celá řada problémů, jejichž řešení vyžaduje poměrně značné finanční prostředky, které se ovšem nedostávají, jsou v rámci příspěvku analyzovány možnosti zajištění finančních zdrojů prostřednictvím uvedených fondů (respektive prostřednictvím operačních programů). Kohezní fondy, železniční doprava, strukturální fondy.
eng Structural and Cohesion Funds in Czech Rail Sector: 2007 ? 2013 Perspective In March 2005 the European Council declared: ?Europe must renew the basis of its competitiveness, increase its growth potential and its productivity and strengthen social cohesion, placing the main emphasis on knowledge, innovation and the optimisation of human capital. To achieve these objectives, the Union must mobilise all appropriate national and Community resources ? including the cohesion policy ? in the Strategy?s three dimensions (economic, social and environmental) so as better to tap into their synergies in a general context of sustainable development?. There is also other field of interest for the rail companies and it is environment. There are a lot of environmental actions and projects that are very interesting for rail companies. It will be crucial for rail companies to have a possibility to co-finance these projects from ERDF. The rail companies in Czech Republic have many different problems in environmental area. They inherited old localities and equipments which are not confirmed with new environmental legislatives. The new operation programmes should also enable to co-finance these projects from ERDF. The environmental problematic is more complicated and it is rather a task of another article. Structural Funds, Cohesion Funds, Railway Transport.
