The opening part of the article is formed of „Euro“ standards´ characterization. The main part of the article describes two systems of exhaust gases´ cleaning – Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR). The main characteristics, advantages, disadvantages and principles take place here. The last part of the article solves the view to the future in emissions´ reduction range – especially EEV and Euro 6 standards.
