eng Determination of Modulus of Elasticity of Tire Steel-cord Belts for Use in Tire FEA Models The article deals with the determination of modulus of elasticity of composite materials consist with elastomers and reinforcing steel cords, such as steel cord belts of tires. On selected specimens were performed static tensile tests. The resulting tension diagrams are proposed methods for obtained of modulus of elasticity for concrete cord configuration of specimens. The calculated modulus of elasticity will be used as input material parameters of steel-cord belts to tire FEA models. tire; belt; elastomer; modulus of elasticity; experiment; FEA
