This index assesses opportunities for prosperity growth and for more effective achievement of social and economic goals. It is associated with the development of transport and transport infrastructure. The aim of this paper is to compare the structure of transport in selected countries, Norway and the Czech Republic, to describe the differences, and to find out the positive and negative effects of the transport policy in both countries.
