Tato přednáška se zaměřuje na hlavní města Visegrádské skupiny a jejich přístupy k udržitelnému rozvoji. Cílem této přednášky je představit a analyzovat přístupy k udržitelnému rozvoji hlavního města České republiky a porovnat je s přístupy k udržitelnému rozvoji ostatních hlavních měst Visegrádské skupiny. Informace, které jsou běžně dostupné na webových stránkách nebo ve veřejně dostupných dokumentech poskytovaných vybranými městy, jsou použity k porovnání jednotlivých přístupů k udržitelnému rozvoji vybraných měst (Praha, Bratislava, Varšava a Budapešť). Obsah zveřejněných informací je hodnocen s ohledem na doporučení poskytovaná iniciativou Global Reporting Initiative v oblasti reportování udržitelnosti. eng	Approaches to the sustainable development of the capital cities of the Visegrad Group	Individual cities' approaches to the sustainable development can significantly affect the quality of life in the city environment. People are becoming increasingly aware that development based solely on economic growth has a number of negative social and environmental impacts. The aim of the sustainable development is to find a balance between the economic, environmental and social areas. This lecture focuses on the capital cities of the Visegrad Group and their approaches to the sustainable development. The aim of this lecture is to present and analyse approaches to the sustainable development of the capital city of the Czech Republic and compare it with approaches to the sustainable development of other capital cities of the Visegrad Group. Information that is commonly available on websites or in publicly available documents provided by selected cities is used to compare the individual approaches to the sustainable development of selected cities (Prague, Bratislava, Warsaw and Budapest). The content of the released information is evaluated with respect to the recommendations provided by the Global Reporting Initiative in the area of the sustainability reporting.
