eng	Mechanical testing and material characterization of material variants and welded joint designs	Within the scope of the work, quasistatic and dynamic tests were carried out on three material variants and their homogeneous/heterogeneous welded joints produced using different technologies. Comprehensive material analyses were performed with a focus on static strength, fatigue resistance, fracture behavior, and the deformation response of both welded joints and bulk materials.
