V příspěvku jsou analyzovány i další faktory působící na poptávky v osobní dopravě. Pozornost je věnována teorii poptávky a elasticity v dopravě a možnostem využití poptávkové elasticity veřejné osobní dopravy. Příklady výpočtu a modelování cenové elasticity poptávky jsou zpracovány pro veřejnou městskou hromadnou osobní dopravu a železniční osobní dopravu. V závěru příspěvku autor komentuje dosažené výsledky modelování cenové elasticity poptávky ve veřejné osobní dopravě ve vybraných segmentech poptávky s využitím statistického lineárního regresního modelu.
eng	Demand price elasticity in public passenger transport	Demand price elasticity in transport is an important factor influencing selection of the way of transport in public passenger transport. In the paper there are also further factors influencing passenger transport demand analysed, namely income level, relative prices of the other transport services, speed of service and parameters characterizing quality of transport service. Besides the above-mentioned factors determining demand in public passenger transport, impact of which can influence operators, there are factors affecting transport demand patterns that operator is not able to influence. Peak demand, changes in social habits and social behaviour, changes in competitor´s services or prices and changes in population distribution are counted among these factors. Transport operator´s attempts to influence transport service demand concentrate above all on realization of price changes referring to transport and complementary services by means of parameters of transport services quality mentioned in the paper. Within the framework of the chapter concerning theory of demand and elasticity there is general functional demand model and its factors influencing demand level described. Demand modelling in public passenger transport proceeds from the segmentation of public passenger transport market. In the paper there are total delivered persons, delivered persons ? coupon tickets, delivered persons ? civil season-tickets, delivered persons ? students´ fare, delivered persons ? pensioners´ season-tickets considered to be the segments of transport market for example in public urban passenger transport. In railway passenger transport there are delivered persons ? total, delivered persons ? general fare, delivered persons ? paying pensioners, delivered persons ? route tickets considered to be the segments of transport market. With demand modelling, general form of the functional model is specified mathematically and statistically by means of regression analysis.
