Doctoral programmes require two things: 1) a master's degree in a relevant field 2) a successful interview with the admission committee.

How to apply
The Faculty of Transport Engineering accepts applications from March 18, 2024 to May 24, 2024 (First Round); June, 24, 2024 to August 23, 2024 (Second Round); November 18, 2024 to January 17, 2025 (Third Round - for study starting the following summer semester).
Admission procedure will be held June 21, 2024 (First Round); September 6, 2024 (Second Round); January 27, 2025 (Third Round).
Step 1: Apply online
- Check you meet the entry requirements of the programme or course you are interested in
- Start your application - go to apply online where you create an account and select programmes/courses you wish to study.
- Submit them before the application deadline
Step 2: Send documents
- Get documents ready: official transcripts, official copy of diploma(s), curriculum vitae.
- Upload or send all required documents to University Admissions before the document deadline
- Pay the application fee before the document deadline
Please note that Czech law requires verification for all education completed in a foreign country for the purposes of university admission. Your documents must be legalised, submitted in Czech, English , or Slovak, and your education verified. More information can be found here.
Tuition fees
Annual Tuition
There is no fee for Ph.D students.
Application fee
If you are required to pay tuition fees, you are generally also required to pay an application fee of 600 CZK (Czech study program) / 2000 CZK (English study program) when applying to the University of Pardubice.
In the case you require a verification of the previous high school or university education, the fee of CZK 600.- is charged (documents for payment: see the e-mail/electronic application form).
