The project includes various areas of transport; it represents research in the field of technical disciplines with transport applications, marketing and transport technology according to faculty specifications. Each fields of study are included mainly in particular dissertations thesis. Project is important support for experimental research mainly for technical specializations. Publication activity of students will be motivated significantly. Project is a set of student´s research activities in different areas according each specializations. The research in the field of management and transport technology will focus on sustainable transport, by means of creation and use of mathematical models of transport services. The project further includes analysis of crisis situations in transport-focused issues, their prevention and elimination. Each problems will be solved in close connection with practical requirements, e.g. factors affecting the safety precautions and handling passengers at airports, road safety and the effects cardiac arrhythmia of transport drivers etc. Regarding todays problems of the transport means, the research will be devoted to studying the behaviour of materials at high strain rate. Specific procedures for assessing the safety against a sudden destruction according to fracture mechanics will be included. Tribology diagnostic methods in the study of the degradation of engine oil, their influence on lifetime are the main part of solved environmental issues. In electronics, the project will contain calculations for thermal modeling of suppression members of electric drives, creation of photovoltaic panels into the existing power system of the experimental rolling stock. In the field of civil engineering the experimental analysis of watertight concrete under exposure to water combined with a high temperature aggressive environment will be performed.
