The aim of the new air branch is extend portfolio of research branches on the Faculty of Transport Engineering. The necessary for that is create proper environment for education process. This environment could be create thanks to laboratory with the specialization on the aircraft stuctural elements. The Faculty of Transport Engineering have a front specialist in the field of air transport. Technical background allow education in the specific field of study. Very important is built laboratory with special equipment for specific education related with specific features for aircraft and air transport. New study field will be provide by the Institute of Air Transport, which is a par of the Department of Transport Management, Marketing and Logistics.
