Description:
The aim of the proposed project is the design of a SW module using artificial intelligence in support of the demanding work of a dispatcher of a railway freight carrier, specifically in the process of short-term planning and operative management in the coordination of the use of planned capacities (driving vehicles, train drivers), customer priorities (priority of transport, turnover of cars , continuity), capacities in localities (availability of local personnel to handle the shipment), available capacity of the transport route and the actual situation on it. The proposed solution should provide the dispatcher with the basis for the necessary decisions, supported not only by optimizing the use of resources, but also by learning from already implemented decisions and their real impacts
