Rector Libor Čapek: The beginning of the new academic year

Dear students, dear colleagues,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the beginning of the new academic year.

I especially welcome those of you who are entering your first year of study. As you start the academic year, you become part of our academic community. I very much appreciate the fact that you have chosen the University of Pardubice for your studies. Studying at university is an unforgettable period of your life, during which you will make new friendships and acquire knowledge and skills that will enable you to successfully make your way in the job market. Our university offers modern facilities not only for quality educational and scientific research activities but also for sports and cultural activities. Make the most of all these opportunities during your studies.

The University of Pardubice is a community of more than 1000 employees and 7000 students. 

I have a deep respect for each of you. It is you who move forward the boundaries of our university's possibilities and achievements.
