The University of Pardubice campus is once again welcoming university students. Classes have started in full swing for 8,000 students, almost 600 of whom are from abroad, from all European countries, and from the USA, Taiwan, Israel, or Jordan.
The student event Příliv (Tide in English) traditionally kicked off the new semester. The event aims to help newcomers with orientation at the beginning of their studies and connect Czech and international students with the city and the region. International students started their studies in Pardubice with Orientation Week, prepared by the International Department of the University of Pardubice in cooperation with ESN Pardubice.
In the heart of the campus, all university clubs, representatives of the university departments, and the region presented themselves and offered fun activities to all students.
University students could go for coffee with vice-rectors, sign up for a particular University Quiz with friends, or go to the Laborka bistro for Speed Dating. For the first time, they had the opportunity to watch a live recording of the UPCE On Air University podcast and ask questions. Those who craved movement could join a workshop by well-known artists or UPCE dancers. Interest was aroused by the performance of Cirk La Putyka and the exciting activities and facilities that were full of good food and drink, including UPCE University cider. The Welcome loosely followed the campus event to the UPCE dance event.
We wish all students the best in their stay in Pardubice and good luck with their studies!
