Foundation of the Department of Transport Infrastructure on the occasion of the establishment of the Faculty of Transport Engineering (FTE), originally named Jan Perner Transport Faculty.
1994
Institute of Chemical Technology, of which FTE and thus the Department of Transport Infrastructure was an integral part, adopted the new name of University of Pardubice.
1998
Split of originally one Department of Transport Infrastructure into two successor departments: Department of Transport Infrastructure and Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Signalling in Transport.
2002
Upon agreement of the Accreditation Committee of the Czech Republic, so called structured studies (bachelor and follow-up master study programme) began to come into use.
2008
Accreditation of the new study programme of Civil Engineering with the study field of Transport Structures and change of the name of the department into Department of Transport Structures.
2013
Relocation of laboratories of the Department of Transport Structures into newly opened Educational and Research Centre in Transport. This enabled their expansion, addition of specialized instruments and use of modern facilities.
2019
Accreditation of the new study programme of Transport Structures.
