The University of Pardubice is located in the city of Pardubice in East Bohemia, Czech Republic. Excellent transport links by road and rail are available. The train journey from Prague takes 1 hour and the railway also offers comfortable connections to other European cities like Wien, Berlin or Budapest.

The Educational and Research Centre in Transport is situated in the university's Technology Centre in Doubravice, alongside with buildings of the Faculty of Chemical Technology. The main entrance is located at the turn-off from the road no. 36 to the industrial zone south of Doubravice. When arriving by public transport, get off the bus at the stop Semtín, Zastávka; the nearest train stop is Pardubice-Semtín. Walk along the main road to the entrance and proceed to the white-blue building at the opposite end of the site. Students and staff can use their university ID cards to take a shortcut through a pedestrian gate nearer to the bus stop.
