eng	The influence of the ISBD development on Czech national postal operator	The paper deals with the information system of the data boxes (ISDB). This system represents a technological revolution in guaranteed electronic delivery of official correspondence. The establishment and operation of the ISDS is regulated by Act No. 300/2008 Coll. on electronic communications and authorized conversion of documents. This Act came into force on 1st July 2009. The Act defines the ISDB as public administration information system which contains information about the data boxes and its users. The manager of the system is Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic and its provider is the holder of postal license – Czech Post, s. e. Costs associated with the operation of ISDS are covered by the state. The important partial aim of the paper is to identify the correlation between the volume of messages sent through the ISDB system and the volume of traditional letter items and consequently the influence of above mentioned correlation on Czech Post, s. e. operating results.	data boxes;electronic delivery;national postal operator
