eng	The influence of ISDB on traditional postal service	The paper deals with definition of influence of the information system of the data boxes on volume of provided postal services. It is generally assumed that the volume of letter items will continue to fall thanks to e-mail and electronic communications. The information system of the data boxes is a revolution in the delivery. The system represents a technological revolution in guaranteed electronic delivery of official correspondence. The Act no. 300/2008 Coll. on electronic communications and authorized conversion of documents defines the information system of the data boxes as a system public administration information system which contains information about the data boxes and its users. The important partial aim of the paper is to identify the correlation between the volume of messages sent through the ISDB system and the volume of traditional letters.
