eng Selected Experiments of Composites with Elastomers for computational Modelling of a Tire This paper deals with the experimental tests of specific composites with elastomeric matrix, that need to be done to validate computational models of tires. Attention was paid mainly to passenger tires with regard to reinforcing steel cord fibers and alluvial mixture. To obtain data for verification of the calculations it is necessary to take into account in particular the dynamic mechanical and physical parameters of selected parts of the tires. The implemented test methods were the DMA (dynamic-mechanical analysis) and tensile tests in uniaxial stress. Using the method of DMA we determined the modules of elasticity and the loss angle tan δ for samples of variably old sidewalls of tires.
