Course title: Theoretical Examinations for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician Licence (AML Part 66)
Designed for: Applicants for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certificate (AMP Part 66)
Aim: Since May 2017, the Department of Air Transport has been conducting basic theoretical examinations of aviation technicians and mechanics according to (EU) 1321/2014 Part 66 for the following categories:
B1.1 Airframe and aeroplanes turbine
B1.2 Airframe and aeroplanes piston
B1.3 Airframe and helicopters turbine
B1.4 Airframe and helicopters piston
B2 Avionics
Entry requirements: None
Place: Examinations take place at UPa DFJP.
Form and methods: To obtain an AML as an aircraft mechanic, you need to pass all the exams (modules) for that category. In addition, you must have completed the necessary experience in an EASA FORM 19 authorized maintenance organization. Pay an administrative fee to the CAA.
Certificate: A certificate of the completion of the basic theoretical examinations is issued to the graduate at the end of the course.
