They are mostly concerned on the substitution of the human labour with the technology. This paper is dealing with these fields: ? Reduction of the train staff - setting up of conductors on some trains. Utilization of technical appliances which inform the driver about safe completion of boarding. ? Usage of self-service ticket dispensing machines - ticket machines at stations, on platforms and in trains. Complementary services offered by the machines. ? Stops on demand - utilization of technical appliances which inform the driver about the request for stopping.
