eng	The RFID shows the way to the modern logistics	The paper takes focus on aspects and usage of the RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) technology. The penetration of this technology into logistic and sales area is rapidly growing nowadays. Basic technologic properties and advantages of the RFID comparing with the bar code system are described and typical practical implementations are mentioned. The standpoint of safeness is also considered. Some interesting case studies (public transportation, Supply Chain Management, warehousing, etc.) and market perspectives of this technology are presented in the paper as well.
