Klastry a klastrové iniciativy představují jednu z nejlepších možností, jak lze zvýšit konkurenceschopnost určitého regionu, což je základním cílem regionální politiky v České republice, stejně jako v celé Evropské unii. Klastry jsou definovány jako geografická koncentrace firem z určitého odvětví, specializovaných dodavatelů, poskytovatelů služeb, firem v příbuzných odvětvích a dalších institucí, jako jsou univerzity, agentury a průmyslové asociace různých oblastí, které na jedné straně soupeří, ale zároveň i kooperují. Klastrové iniciativy jsou organizované úsilí na zvýšení růstu nebo konkurenceschopnosti klastru uvnitře regionu, zahrnující firmy z klastru, vládu a výzkumnou sféru. Klastrové iniciativy se stávají klíčovými pro zvyšování růstu a konkurenceschopnosti klastru. Nicméně nové členské státy Evropské unie nemají zkušenosti s úspěšnými projekty, klastry a klastrovými iniciativami. Cílem příspěvku je analýza existujících klastrů a klastrových iniciativ v regionu Pardubice, Česká republika, prostřednictvím Modelu výkonnosti klastrových iniciativ (CIPM model).	klastr;klastrová iniciativa;Pardubice;region
eng	The Analysis of the Clusters in the Region of Pardubice	This presentation deals with the issue of the clusters and cluster initiatives and emphasized the genuine idea of Porters cluster as engine of productivity and innovation growth. Cluster and cluster initiatives present one of the best possibilities how to increase the competitiveness of region, which is basic aim of regional policy in Czech Republic as well as in whole European Union. Clusters are defined as a geographical concentration of mutually linked firms, specialized suppliers, service providers, firms in related branches and associated institutions such as universities, agencies and business associations of various lines which on the one hand compete but on the other hand cooperate as well. Cluster initiatives are organized efforts to increase growth and competitiveness of clusters within a region, involving cluster firms, government and the research community. Cluster initiatives have become a central feature in improving growth and competitiveness of clusters. However the new member states of EU often do not have experience with successful projects, clusters and cluster initiatives. The aim of this presentation is the analysis of formulated clusters and cluster initiatives in region of Pardubice, Czech Republic, through The Clusters Initiatives Performance Model (CIPM).	cluster;cluster initiatives;Pardubice;region
