Zásadním požadavkem je zajistit dostupnost železniční infrastruktury a vozidel pro všechny kategorie cestujících. Článek představuje technické specifikace interoperability, které musí splňovat nástupiště v nových a rekonstruovaných železničních stanicích a zastávkách. Je zohledněna bezpečnost cestujících pohybujících se a pobývajících na nástupišti. Je definován pojem bezpečná a nebezpečná zóna na nástupišti a analyzován vliv polohy schodiště a výtahu na požadovanou šířku nástupiště. Jsou uvedeny pokyny pro stanovení obsahu a minimální šířky bezpečné zóny nástupiště v nových a rekonstruovaných stanicích. V úvahách jsou zahrnuty požadavky na bezpečnost všech cestujících, včetně zdravotně postižených osob na vozíku a osob s dočasně a trvale omezenou schopností pohybu nebo orientace. eng	Safety of Passengers on Platforms in Railway Stations and Stops	Modern railway infrastructure should provide the competitiveness and sustainability of passenger traffic. The essential requirement is to ensure the accessibility of railway infrastructure and vehicles for all categories of passengers. The paper presents the technical specifications of interoperability that have to be met by platforms in new and reconstructed railway stations and stops. The safety of passengers moving and staying on the platform is considered. The term safe and dangerous zone on the platform is defined. The influence of the staircase and elevator position on the required width of the platform is analyzed. Guidelines are given for determining the content and minimum width of the platform safe zone in new and reconstructed stations. Safety requirements for all passengers, including disabled persons in wheelchairs and persons with temporarily and permanently reduced mobility, are included in the considerations. The presented guidelines are applicable in the design of new stations and reconstruction.	accessibility; interoperability; persons with reduced mobility
