The base material is high-carbon cast steel, and the study briefly discusses its weldability along with the selected filler metals. The procedure includes surface preparation, welding using the MCAW method with seamless flux-cored wire, GMAW with solid wire, and post-weld heat treatment. Comprehensive tests, including hardness measurements, macroscopic and microscopic examinations, and chemical composition analysis using the EDX method, were conducted.
